EXHIBITIONS

Starting up with the german draisine of the year 1817 the exhibition shows the complete chronological development of the bicycle.

In addition to the first series production motorcycle in the world made by Hildebrand & Wolfmüller in 1894, the AUTOVISION shows the pre-war motor bike history based on a large NSU motorcycle collection.

Called the "UPBRINGING OF MOBILITY" is our first of five exhibition areas where we`re showing vehicles for children from all eras starting in the year 1880 ...

To see into the museum: the Benz Patent Motorwagen from 1886 - the first car in the world with a combustion engine ...

The world`s largest NSU prewar collection shows many individual exhibits that are nowhere else to be exposed. One of them is this very special motor tricycle from 1904 with a water-cooled engine and also for the first time a steering wheel at NSU brand.

Today it is known only in professional circles, that NSU has already employed in addition to the construction of two-wheelers in the pre-war period from 1904 with the development of automobiles. The world's largest remaining fleet of NSU pre-war automobiles is exhibited in the museum AUTOVISION...
